Brief

Design/illustrate a book cover of your choosing. The cover needs to convery the spirit of the book as well as communicate the message by use of 'one main letter' plus any supporting graphics.

Concept

My chosen book was 'Satchmo', a music memoir written by Louis Armstrong. I wanted my letter S to look like an old and battered trumper to portray the rough but musical upbringing Armstrong had in early 1900's New Orleans
